A message from Bishop Crispian Hollis
Dear
Sisters and Brothers,
Living Our Faith is a bold and exciting response to the opportunities and challenges facing us as a Diocese as we begin our next 125 years of service to the Lord and one another. Its success will enable us to strengthen and sustain the key pillars of our Diocese – clergy and vocations; laity formation; and pastoral areas. Living Our Faith will impact every aspect of our religious practice and devotion.
I continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity of the parishioners throughout the Diocese. The positive response, the generous financial support, the commitment of volunteers, combined with the dedication of the clergy have all been heartening and a great testament to the good will and faith of the people of the Diocese.
This is an unprecedented initiative for the Diocese. To continue our early success, we will require the involvement of all twenty four pastoral areas. When your parish priest asks you to act as a volunteer, please accept his invitation; when he asks you to make a gift to the campaign, please consider his request and respond as positively and generously as you can.
By working and praying together, we will achieve our goal. I look forward to hearing of your parish’s success in the coming weeks and months.
With my blessings, gratitude and prayers,

Bishop Crispian Hollis
Bishop of Portsmouth
